Deco Mesh Wreaths are very popular right now. They are easy to handle, hold up really well in all types of weather and very versatile. Recently, I did a Facebook Live show the simplest method of designing the Deco Method Wreath base known as the Loop Method.
This one was for Valentine’s Day and the customer’s color choice was red and black. I found a beautiful sign to coordinate with the Deco mesh and got started with making the base.
Materials you need to make a Deco mesh wreath base are:
24” Deco mesh wreath work form

How to Make A diy floral monogram
Have you seen the popular floral monogram lately?? They’re in all the boutiques and home décor stores and I must say…they are gorgeous!
Lately I’ve been making them for people like hot cakes and they always turn out beautiful!! They have been used for birthday presents, wedding décor, wedding presents, graduation presents for college bound kids, baby shower presents and that’s just to name a few.
The best part about it is they are sooooo easy to make!! Let me show you how.
Supplies you will need:
Natural 18” wooden initial (Hobby Lobby)
Floral Accent Mats by Ashland (Michaels)
Matching 2.5” Ribbon or Robe
White acrylic craft paint
Hot Glue Gun
Heavy Duty Staple Gun
To get started:
Remove wooden sales hook stapled to the wooden initial off.
Paint two coats of the entire initial white using the acrylic paint and sponge brush.
Next, pull off one individual floral from the mat.
Trim the stem down by cutting it just below the small floral stems. Do not cut the stem bunch as this will cause the floral to fall apart.
Apply hot glue to the tip of the trimmed stem.
Place the stem onto the wooden monogram and hold in place for a few seconds.
Repeat the process covering the entire FRONT part of the wooden monogram.
Remember, you can place the florals in a pattern across the monogram or you can replace each floral randomly. I like the random look.
Once the front of the wooden monogram has been completely covered decide if you would like to hang it with OR without a ribbon hanger. If you would like a ribbon hanger, measure out how long you would like your hanger to be.
Cut (1) 20” ribbon strip.
On each end of the ribbon, fold the ribbon approximately 1/2” twice to give a finished look to each end.
Find the center point on the top of each side of the monogram letter.
Staple one end to the back of each side of the letter.
And you are finished! YAY!!
Here's is a video I did from a FB LIVE showing you how I create these popular items.
Here are the birthday girls I mention in the video with their floral monograms! Yes... I know they're dirty, sweaty and in uniforms but they're college softball players who had just come off the field as well as beautiful young lades. :)
I hope you enjoyed this DIY video and learned how easy making a floral monogram can be. There are so many options and different ways you can use these beautiful monograms for your own home or to give as gifts.
